About us
Influenced by 2000 years of thinkers, 60 years of rock n roll & one beautiful game....this is White Circus Fever. Jokers not clowns. The band formed as a 3piece in January 2007 & found its feet fast with a series of over 30 gigs around England in a matter of months, immense press reviews & regular local airplay.
In November 07 the jigsaw was completed with Tom Adams added on lead guitar. The band then recorded four new tracks in June 2008 @ 2Fly Studio's in Sheffield. These have been well received with recent airplay on BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio Sheffield & Rother FM aswell as a host of on-line radio shows inc 8,000 plays on XFM on-line. Check the gig listings for dates untill xmas & expect new recordings in Nov.....The Circus Roll’s On.
SOME PRESS CLIPPINGS>
“It looked hard work to deserve a headline at tonight’s gig, as the two support bands were superb. Just as you thought that the next band couldn’t possibly be better than the previous one, they were, in fact twice as much so. Gallagher has a rousing voice and a typical indie stage presence, and the rhythm section is very tight and readily supply instant hard hitting rock n roll beats”. Sandman Mag, Live Review, Nov 07 issue.
“Calm and collected is their style with songs that wouldn’t sound out of place on the soundtrack to a cult British film. A professional, talented and diverse band”. Jayne Hurd, myvillage.com.Oct 07.
