About us
Like many bands, the Wild Flowers have had their fair share of; name changes, line-up changes, major label interest and time-wasting blind alleys over the years. Aaron Bradley and Mark Copeland grew up playing music together and their strong musical bond ultimately gave birth to the Wild Flowers. Bradley and Copeland share songwriting duties, which gives their songs a depth and scope beyond many other bands.
Joining them on this musical ride is guitarist Ross Muir and drummer Martin Trainer, who keeps everything in place with an extremely colourful and melodic harmony-laced rhythm.
New to the fold is melodic bassist Darren McDermid, who contributes peerless musicianship and an exciting stage presence. Together, the Wild Flowers recall some of the great bands of the past (Beatles, Byrds, Who), yet are infused with a modern edginess that you might hear in Ryan Adams, We Are Scientists or The Strokes. Their songs are as full of inspired ingenuity as you?ll find in any latter-day Beatles or XTC recording, but with their melodic sensibility intact. The Wild Flowers cover a wide range of sounds that evoke music at its finest...
