"IT WAS LIKE I HAD BEEN IN THE DARK AND SOMEONE TURNED ON THE MAIN SWITCH FOR A LIGHTING CONDUCTOR." Those are the words used by many on hearing The Wallbirds for the first time. During the 1930s and 1940s there was a fellow traveller of the great Leadbelly, kicking out boisterous Leadbelly songs like 'go tell Aunt Rhody' and 'take a whiff'. 6 Decades later when dust had settled Walt Wallbird along with his fellow cousins Lucas Wallbird and Christopher Wallbird Jnr were not going to let that same revolution dissapear into a thick fog of Electro -Nu Wave - Emo - Screamo - Techno. Taking music back to it's roots we are greatful!
