About us
Late night Hotel, music to warm. Walk into the city streets to. Buy that bag in Paris to. Soak in and mope in, dance on wine soaked tables to. There is something of worth behind the mirrors and smoke, and the goosechase and agricultural chic...
Songs written by Tom Wilson. A ragged outfit. He is playing more stripped-down bluesy folk at the moment. These recordings are from a late night session when all parties were a little worse for wear. The myspace has more recent recordings with the band. Ideally we'd put them on this site but the format is wrong or something and the wine is taking effect. If you like this try the myspace and we'll promise to sort it out asap. www.myspace.com/theswanhunters
The Swanhunters played solidly as a four piece, keys, drums bass and geetar. Past memorable gigs include McGee's Death Disco @ Notting Hill Arts Club, Proud Gallery when it was still alive, ULU, Good Ship, Dublin Castle, Madame Jojos, Borderline, UCL Union, 12 Bar, Lauriston (Hackney Wick yuur) Pleasure Unit, Bull & Gate, Turnmills was an awful gig, George Tavern is always a hoot, Rhythm Factory and a vast quantity of dives barely worth mentioning.
Now Tom is turning the volume down, more Betsey Trotwood if you know what I mean. No particular reason why.
