A Modern Rock & Roll Band from the Northwest.
Influences: The La’s, The Who, T-Rex, The Pogues, The Dubliners, Oasis, David Bowie, The Velvet Underground, The Strokes, The Libertines, The Doors, The Beatles, Cat Stevens, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Kasabian, The Smiths
The four made their acquaintance at St. Aelred’s High School in Newton-le-Willows. An amalgamation of Warrington and Wigan culture’s leading to the band’s sound.
Utilising the sounds of the sixties Rock scene and their rich Mersey/Mancunian musical history, SlyDigs have managed to capture the Melancholy stories of the North with Melodic rock in an edgy hybrid.
In their Live performances, SlyDigs have managed to ensnare not only the belle époque of the 60’s North, but also couple it beautifully with the vim and vigour of a charismatic modern live act.
