About us


Melodic growls and jagged rolling riffs signify this swaggering, savage 5 piece. A chunky, spiky sound underpinned by subtle but thumping rhythms, The Shanners’ crafty, edgy songs are a peculiar blend of punk and poetry.

Their uncompromising stage act, with its sardonic, political edge is renowned for turning the coldest gaggle of stiffs into a sweating, raucous mass.

Teeth cut on the London circuit, The Shanners’ ferocious performances have since graced Glasgow, Berlin & Paris. They recorded their first album, “Word to the Wise” released late June 2006 by Redundo Records. The tracks on this site are from their latest EP recorded in March 2007.
