About us


The Sea are 2 brothers Peter and Alex who make music for themselves, they play all over London, with not a penny to their names they have set about recording what they do in a garage somewhere on the south west coast of England..........

We started this band 4 months ago because we wanted to do something with no rules, where anything goes, we have both been more and more influenced by jazz over the last year, after listening to Django Reinhardt and Acoustic Ladyland and we loved the freedom they have.

Essentially however we are a rock band, Peter is influenced by Hendrix, Jack White, Clapton and the song writing brilliance of Lennon and Mc Cartney, Alex is influenced by Ginger Baker, John Bonham and Mitch Mitchell.

So yes rock band, but with a jazz attitude maybe! And without any hint of pretentiousness we just want to push our own boundaries where anything is possible, this is us and this is our art, if people don’t like what we do, tough.
