About us


The Rays are a no-nonsense rock n roll band. Full stop. Gutsy guitars, ballsy vocals and swaggering melodies combined with a thirst for Jack Daniels means the five lads always give it all at the gigs.

Formed in early 2005, they have thoroughly done the Manchester circuit in the two years since. Have featured on several occasions at XFM Friday nights at Tiger Tiger with Gareth Brooks. Other highlights included a slot a 5th Avenue on New Years Eve 2007 and freshers week gigs at Manchester Met and Bradford Universities.

They've just returned from Moolah Rouge Studios in Stockport having recorded six new tracks - as featured on the site.

Hopefully 2008 will be a busy year for the lads.
