EVA VALENTINE

"During my life I have had many creative interests. These have included acting, contemporary dance, art & design etc. The one constant amongst all these interests has been and still is writing. I have been quietly keeping journals, writing poetry etc for most of my adult life. Writing has helped me throughout my life to cope with life's trials, tribulations, heartaches and torments by releasing and expressing my innermost thoughts and emotions.During the past 18 months I have had the desire and opportunity to use some of my writing and poems in the creation of songs. I continue to write, be creative and my poems have evolved and now always take the form of songs.It feels good to share my thoughts and feelings with others through music and at last make myself heard". DARK STAR

Since an early age Dark Star has been playing, producing and creating music. Taking on influences from classical to industrial. He enjoys the sense of musical alchemy that comes from experimentation. Having worked in the band setting for many years - The Psychic Echo acts as a change of direction in which the music comes from a more personal empathy that connects directly to Eva's lyrics. Dark Star sees music as a way to communicate feelings and strengthen sentiments. Thoughts are organised into melodies and emotion is expressed through sound.
