About us


The Procession, originating from Manchester to Cornwall are an alternative/rock/indie, quartet, with an unrestricted sound intent on knocking down the constraints of musical genres. They are currently based in the Midlands cities of Leicester and Birmingham.

All four members all have varied influences resulting in a no-boundaries approach to musical creation, with all contributing a
different flavour resulting in a fresh exciting sound. Although only formed in early 2006 they have built up a reputation as an energetic live act, with strong songs to boot. With over a hundred songs in the making, The Procession recorded their debut EP in 2006 titled "Johnny Got A Raw Deal". Received as a catchy energetic record, the procession are currently working on expanding their sound pallet by applying the final touches to their next record, whilst creating and building upon further ideas for more future recordings.

They pride themselves on being a fun and energetic live act, and having a genuine passion for the creation of original material, along with the promotion of unsigned acts and the original music scene as a whole.

"We love music, love creating new songs, love playing them to people, love having fun, love seeing other unsigned bands. Whether its playing on a lineup, or organising a night ourselfs, we just love being involved in the scene!"

The energy, variety, and enthusiasm of The Procession combined with the likeable charms, personality and power of the songs, all hints towards the prospect of a promising, exciting future for the band!
