About us
Them Next Door a fresh new Manchester 5 piece, starting in early 2007 the band have already made ripples in the big sea of talent that is the Manchester music scene. With dirty rock & roll sounds the band offer a new expirience to thier eudience. Their influences shine through during these 4 minute rampages through sounds replicating Stone Roses, Joy Division with even a harmonic hint of acts such as The Small Faces.
2007 has proved to be a great success for the lads as they have played major Manchester venues, secured air time on local radio stations and have recently played to a crowd of over 7,000 during beached festival 2007, whilst recieving more cheers than some of the headline acts! Other names on the bill included Amy McDonald, One Night Only, David Jordan, Foals, Lethal Bizzle & The Paddingtons.
With Them Next Door it’s all about the music, the band do not want to be included in any scene, they’ve started this to be individual and to follow thier ambitions as musicians. Growing up around bands it is clear why the lads started this venture, been there done that got the t-shirt is a phrase used alot, these lads want to go there for themselves. The band are well matched in terms of skill and ambition and with a close bond within the group TND could be classed as a solid unit and an exciting new proposition to not only Manchester music but to the UK’s audience also.
There are always dates coming up for the band with trips to london and other major cicties planned for later in the year to showcase their sound. They want to spread not only the word but the sound, this raw untouched sound to other places around the country...so help spread the word...go tell em what you’ve heard!
The debut E.P. Intent to Supply is exactly what it says on the tin, it’s a rough and ready example of the style of Them Next Door. The EP is a guideline for future recording sessions planned within the next few months.
