About us


We're five pissed off individuals living in a little Industrial town called Widnes in the North West of England.

We are like brothers, we have known and knocked about with each other for years.

The band was formed in October 05, when Jon, Kenneth and Jack started playing and writing music together in a friends warehouse during our spare time.

After a while we started to expand on what we were doing, we managed to get a few songs together, and although they were rough, we knew we had something we could work on.....

In February 06 a mutual friend of ours, Alan, picked up the Bass and started to come down and jam with the rest of the band. It wasn't too long before we had compiled a set list and started to perform live gigs under the name of ThE LeaRyS - ABSOLUTE ANARCHY MAN!!!!

In January 07 we decided we needed another guitarist to complete the set up. We all knew Bev from watching and playing with different bands over the years, and also he had recently left a band he was drumming for.

We decided after a good couple of good arguments that Bev would join ThE LeaRYs and we would become a five piece band.

We don't care - we're on a mission to keep Rock N Roll alive!! Everyone has forgotten Rock N Roll.... its nearly extinct!!! Everyone is too wrapped up in all they're pretty love songs and they're cheap imitation "Rock Stars" that cry for rehab every two seconds because they've been out drinking for two nights on the run....

Who you trying to kid?

We know we're being cheated.... and we're not happy about it at all.

We play angry music because we're angry lads trying to stand up and be counted for....
