About us


The Kokos are a no nonsense poundin' dirty rock n' roll band who deliver their songs like a short, sharp smack in the chops. Based in South London, they've been regulars on the London scene since their first gig, at The Buffalo in March 2006.

Influenced by all the great and the good in the last 50 years of rock n' roll - particulary the Rolling Stones, The Faces and The Ramones, they just want to get a crowd worked up into a messy, sweaty, frantic frenzy.

The Kokos recently played at a headline set at Dirty South, where a copy of their CD was requested by none other than Ramones drummer, Marky Ramone! Another gig saw Joe and Louise from Reverend and The Makers, use 'Movin' On' as a part of their DJ Set.
