About us
The Great Northwestern Hoboes were formed in 2003, and within a year had released two singles on Liverpool Independant label Viper Records, 'Between Catharine & Hope St', and 'Change Your Tune'. Both recieved brilliant reviews and were played on radio stations on both sides of the Atlantic. The band also played the BBC Radio 2 fringe event held in Liverpool in 2004, and performed at the 2006 In The City showcase, to excellent reviews.
The Hoboes currently run their own monthly showcase at Liverpools Zanzibar club called 'Olde Time Religion', which puts on the best local unsigned acts in the area.
