The Empires are quintissentially English rock and roll band from Bury St Edmunds writing good catchy songs about drinks, girls, good times and tea!

They are influenced by the late 60's and early 70's bands especially that of Led Zeppelin and other contemporary acts such as Kings of Leon.

They enjoy the good things in life and like nothing more than to sit around outside making music on acoustic instruments

With strong songwriting and retrospective guitarwork from Matthew J Ault, searing lead vocals and groovy organ licks from Lloyd Whittaker, Solid yet intricate bass lines and riffs from Josh Whitlock locked into Solid and Powerful Drums From Sam Welsh The Empires create a formidable sound..
