Biography


The Fake Exterior formed in January 2006, Cambridge England. They are comprised of singer/guitarist Krystal, drummer Markuz and new edition's bassist Baz and guitarist sam

Krystal's last band "Kubrick" (Mighty Atom Records, England) were the starting block
for The Fake Exterior.
Feeling as though he had taken "Kubrick" as far as they could go, and after touring England
for 2 years with the likes of "3 Colours Red" and "Days in December", he decided to form a new band with a much more diverse sound

First to join was Italian drummer Markuz whom had been touring Italy extensively in his band "Kink" (RB Records Japan and Rising Works Italy).
With their album "Tsunami", they appeared
on MTV with the likes of "The Cranberries" and Rock TV with "Lacuna Coil" before Markus decided to change country and way of life.

After touring England playing shows with friends "Takota" from USA,
The Fake Exterior recorded their self-funded debut album "Bad Movie... Great Soundtrack" (Fear Studio Italy March 07)
which is hard to place within any genre.
The overall sound is an eclectic taste of
many types of music.

The Fake Exterior sound begins in a Rock-Metal mood, then transpiring into some fast melodic tracks and even into a ballad. The album is finished off with a digitally influenced track which really shows how diverse their sound can be.

They are a band not afraid to try new things and the album clearly shows this.

Now The Fake Exterior continue promoting their album across the UK and Europe, with friends across the globe they will strive to achieve a manager and a publishing deal
