About us
We're a four piece indie rock sort of thing from Glenrothes (the place "Ghost Town" by The Specials was written about).
Ollie and Tom started off by knocking out shaky Libertines and Strokes covers. After a while they started to write their own tunes; with Ollie's rhythmic chord patterns and Tom's catchy guitar riffs they got better and better. They played a few parties together but still felt held back by the lack of a drummer.
Enter Ashton Petro Zoanetti (no joke). This Italian stallion soon worked out beats for the songs but things still weren’t right, they lacked the gentle touch of a woman to tame their indie boy rock! To solve this, along came Jess – the woman with all their low frequency needs. Things were complete! Describing our sound is hard. A myriad of bands and artists influence all out members yet our sound remains refreshingly original and unique. Hints of the Hammond Jnr/ Velensi (of the Strokes) guitar accents can be picked up in Tom’s nifty fingers whereas tones of early Oasis are audible in many of our songs.
It’s a sound you’ve just got to hear!
