About us
The Drug That Killed The Kids were born on 25th September 2007. They are Joe Disson (Guitar Vocals), Chris Havard (Bass, Vocals) Andrew Disson (Drums). The three came togther after discovering they all had a desire to create a band that was different. They wanted to create music that would really connect with people. ‘S.O.S’ (Avaliable above) is the bands first track from their debut EP ‘Methods to Self Destruct’. The song showcases the bands ambitions to really create a different and almost epic sound, combining soaring vocals, catchy melodies and walls of guitars. The band aim to start gigging in early 2008 and take their songs to the live stage. If you do go to a show don’t expect a conventional set. With the band currently rehearsing with a string quartet amongst other things, it is clear that they want to seperate themselves even more when it comes to live performances. Expect big things.
