Hey Ho folks. The Dirty Pickups started late in 2007, with Dixon and Tracii wanting to start an all girl band. Apparently Dixon (Square Peg, Face Handle, Begrudgers) fancied wearing a dress! Anyway, they roped in Neil who always fancied a go at bass, and Dave who was same for drums (not for wearing dresses though). A couple of covers to have a go at and before you know it Emma joins to double the guitar and vocals and to complete the 5 piece boy/girl band. The sound is punk rock and roll, bit of this bit of that.
