The Band

About us

With the emergence of acts such as The Blendaholics from Manchester, UK hip-hop could finally come of age and move one step ahead. The nine-piece live band includes brass, keys, guitar, bass, killer drums, boxes of electrickery and a DJ. Together they combine tight beats with verbal weaponry from a stable of the best MCs around, most notably Random Barks and The Green Pooki with deadly melody from singers Ebere and Lou Amour.

The Blendaholics effortlessly assimilate thirties jazz to northern pop/rock into B-boy jams of a new kind, they play sick beats with even sicker flows and in the true tradition of hip hop, the band deliver sharp lyrics about the sign of the times. With lots of gigs, limited edition artwork on three more four track EP¹s preceding the forthcoming album, 'Blendahol', you¹ll be hearing a lot more about this bunch.
