About us

Star Chamber begin what looks set to be an eventful summer, by headlining the BBC introducing stage at Sellindge Festival. Having just had their latest tracks mixed by the highly prestigious producer Mark Plati (David Bowie, Prince, The Cure) they will be appearing at a number of events over the coming months in the run up to the release of their new single. Gigs will include the Harlequin Theatre in Surrey with Ghost Of A Thousand on 7th June, Sellindge Festival headlined by Idlewild also on 7th June, The University of Cambridge Summer Ball with I Am Kloot and Palladium on 18ht June before flying out to the south of France the next day to play the Fete de la Musique in Nice. On return form Nice they will be headlining the Underworld in Camden on 26th June and have just been confirmed to play Zoo Thousand and Eight Music Festival on 5th July.
Star Chamber are a band hard to put down on paper, their non-conformist approach means they have a sound that is refreshingly different to other bands of today. Classic guitar rock with electronic gadgetry and catchy anthemic choruses, you could describe them as electronic indie rock.
Already this year the Gravesend band have headlined sell out shows at The Fly and The Water Rats and played at the Radio 1 Big Weekend Fringe Festival. With many more dates to be announced this is certainly the band to watch this Summer.

"The audience went wild when headline band Star Chamber tried to leave the stage at their sell out gig at The Fly! One of the most exciting live bands to emerge in 2008!” Mark, RSW Concerts
