About us
Stealing Signs have been together for almost 3 years and continue to stir more excitement within the indy music scene. Tim Chester reviewed the band in NME describing them as '...some sort of rock hybrid ala ATDI (at the drive in) that keeps us hooked on repeat for half an hour'. Playing venues such as ULU, Carling Academy Islington, Camden Underworld, Camden Barfly, The Bull and Gate and Brixton Jamm and supporting signed and successful acts such as Magistrates, a Bloc Party DJ Set, The Departure, The Jackson Analogue, Rival Joustas and Weapons, Stealing Signs are an ambitous young band that continue to write and perform energetic songs in an attempt to get signed.
Recently, the band made in to the top 5 of celeberity chef Jamie Olivers unsigned act competetion. Jamie Oliver reviewed the band writing: 'Reminds me of a lot of the indie music I listened to growing up. For nostalgia alone they have found a place in my top 5, but this is also a great tune that wouldn't look out of place in a Bloc Party set.'
