Sleepmode - Key facts

The band have just finished mixing their debut album: recorded at the superlative Byre residential studio, in the remote depths of the Scottish highlands.

The debut single - Rant - will be launched on October 6th on 7" vinyl and download. Available at all good record shops and the usual online stores.

Their UK tour starts 11th September, with 14 Scottish dates announced, and English / Welsh dates to follow.

Sleepmode are not the archetypal Glasgow band: songwriting brothers Mervyn and Robin Adams share lead vocal duties, with their contrasting styles making for a set list which ranges between anthemic indie rock and anarchic post punk pop. Its a combination which really shouldn't work, but somehow glued together by Paul Hepworth's drums and Adam Stearns' bass it all makes perfect - and very entertaining - sense.
