About us


Rising like a phoenix from the ashes of too many bands that you've never heard of to name, secondson started life in the mind of Mike Gill, recruiting workaholic drummer Stuart Makin, guitarist Si Anderton and Hustler bassist Iain Graves with a view to achieving Foo Fighters like world domination within a fortnight.

History shows that the their best laid plans didn't quite achieve their intention, kiboshed further by Graves' belief that domestic bliss with the love of his life and his infant daughter would make him much happier than playing bass in a sweaty rock band.

Every cloud has a silver lining however, in December 2007 secondson recruited killer bassist Jamie Ralph and became a going concern again.

With a suite of rock songs that no doubt have Dave Grohl and James Hetfield foaming at the mouth in frustration that they can't achieve similar excellence on a zero budget and a live sound honed so tight that it almost snaps (and the demos cannot possibly hope to do justice to), secondson embark on their new quest.....

Where this quest is going to lead, we don't know but its gonna be fun and we're sure we'll meet some interesting people en route.
