About us


Scott Barrales has been singing & writing for most of his life. He picked up a guitar somewhere around the 7th grade just to put it down again until 1994. This fateful burst of of sentiment & inspiration came from the passing of his life-long best friend at the young age of 16 - R.I.P. Timmy.

Between struggles at home, struggling with the death of his partner in crime and a never-ending ferocious appetite for anything mind-altering, Scott began to shine through in his music.

Creating melodic waves, blended with sweeping vocal patterns and so much passion you start to feel a little tingly (as you listen to it), Scott soon found his groove. In the years to follow, he has fronted 4 Chicago-based projects: Unexpected Jam, Lost Generation, The Dalai Mamas, The Cosmic Put On. (5 albums came out of those).

In between and after these bands, Scott wrote an additional 6 albums. (3 published, 2 in production [2008] and 1 in the archive waiting for it's day): The Ahashic Records Vol I, Songs To Play At Your Funeral, Super Conductors Of Positive Energy, LoveSlinky presents The People's Underground, The Soft Return, Keep it Warm & Take it Light.
