About us


Relik formed in 2007 after the split up of two bands Marius and Johnny Mustard. After a few line up changes, the band was set with Pete Brand on Lead Guitar, Nick Strong on Rhythm guitar and Lead Vocals, Martin Fouracre on Bass and Sean Dyer on drums.

The band have built up quite a following around Oxford and Newbury where they hail from and are regularly gigging in their areas practically every weekend.

Relik recently recorded their first EP, 'Through The Crowd', which contains the songs Drinking Games, Face In The Crowd and Lucky Day. Soon after, Drinking Games was played on BBC Berkshires Demos Panel. It came in second with DJ Linda Serck saying that she could "definitely hear it being played on commercial radio".

August 2008 saw Relik beating off 25 bands to come a controversial second in Newbury's Snooty Fox's Deal Or no Record Deal competition. A month later the band were headlining the famed Jericho Tavern in Oxford to a great home crowd.
