About us


Reality Inverted are a five piece band from Wigan, UK.

We all met at St John Rigby College, to complete our music and music technology A level courses.

We are available and are looking for gigs!

THOMAS SIMM

-Thomas is now on a Creative Music Technology course at Huddersfield University. (Majoring in Bass Trombone)

-His influences include: Nine Black Alps, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro and Radiohead.


JONATHAN BRIERLEY

-Jonathan is now on a Music Performance (BMus) course playing trombone at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

-His influences include: Bach, Wagner, Rage against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Bonham and Taylor Hawkins.


TIM CRITCHLEY

-Tim is now on a Music course at Liverpool Hope University studying Euphonium.

-His influences include: ...Reality Inverted!? ;)


MATTHEW COOP

-Matthew is now on a Music course at Salford University.

-His influences include: Coldplay, Joyce and Maroon 5.

RYAN WILLIAMS

-Ryan is now on a Proffesional Sound and Video Technology course at Salford university.

-His influences include: Spiderman, Ghostbusters and Joe Satriani.

Three Members of the band; Thomas Simm, Tim Critchley and Jon Brierley, play their second instruments.
We are all actually first study brass players!
Jon b - Trombone.
Tom Simm - Bass Trombone.
Tim Critchley - Euphonium.
So if you wonder why we have such busy schedules, now you know! The three of us are in varied bands, but have all played at such places as the Royal Albert Hall in London.
