About us


Ramon Ruiz, singer/ songwriter from motherwell lanarkshire was born in Scotland. Moved to spain at 6 months old,came back to scotland at 7 yrs old. Started playing guitar at 16. Influenced by My Family,The Smurfs,Focus, Depeche Mode,David Bowie,Bare Naked Ladies and Radiohead. Formed and played lead guitar in a band called Diobane which lasted 10 years.
He decided to start singing his own songs and playing them at open mic nights throughout Scotland.People commented that he had a good strong voice with catchy melogic songs.Ramon has already played Lebowskis, linen1906, Home@ Albion street, the Rio café in Glasgow and Bannermans in Edinburgh. He is looking forward to his forthcoming shows in October & November. He will play a half hour set of his own original songs and he hopes local people will come along to support him.
