About us
"...the overall sound to me is like the b****rd child of Ozzy and Pantera circa Mouth For War" Andy Bradshaw, Former Assistant Editor, Metal Hammer.
Formed by one-time Marky Ramone guitarist Roger B and singer Adi Capell, RAIDER is set for a VERY busy 2007! The reception to their original material has already been phenomenal with a fast growing fanbase in the South West of England.
Tortured, angsty vocals laid over devastating drums, pounding bass and searing guitar chops make RAIDER one of the 'ones to watch' for 2007.
The level of musicianship is of an exceedingly high standard and Adi has to have one of the most distinctive rock voices around today. Production values are also very high with textured vocals prevalent on all tracks.
While the band originally intended to independently release a 5-track EP in 2007, they were so encouraged by the positive feedback they received from their initial material that they are about to release their debut 10 song album entitled 'Junky to the Pain' on their own Freefall Reocrds label.
After an unsettled period in terms of line-up, the guys have now found their ideal drummer and will begin their live assault on the UK late June / early July 2007!
