About us

PURITAN were formed in February 2004 in the North of the UK.
Fundamentally a britrock band with a progressive edge. Experimental in the music but without becoming self obsessed. As with any true musican, the greatest buzz is to see the audience enjoy feeling the music as much as PURITAN enjoy playing it.
PURITAN's music is a mixture of individual influences all put together to create a unique sound. Influences range from Pink Floyd to Black Sabbath. They have played several numerous large festivals to date including Radio 2's 'Guilfest' in Guildford. Puritan have just completed working with and recording at London's 'Animal Farm productions' at Atomic Studios located near Tower Bridge in London.
Previous accomplishments were establishing a good fan base from Radio 2's Guildford Festival where the band secured a showcase. An excellent review was also recieved from the Organisers.
