About us


Pureape produce songs between electro, indiepop and rock in Zurich. After having released the mini album "Some Music" on the London based Matchbox Recordings and after having given away for free some sexy and clinical tracks on the netlabel Alpinechic, the apes produced their debut full-length album "Very Dirty" in 2005. Due to numerous live appearances and a passionate love for motorik beats, synthetic songwriting, distorted guitars and pop harmonies, Pureape developed a distinctevely and unique sound between minimal electronica and sophisticated electro-rock in pop format.
