London three-piece Protosoul has delivered their eagerly anticipated EP
6mg.Protosoul fully demonstrate their plenitude of clever guitar hooks and solid rock antics, with four energetic tunes. 6mg is the follow up to their Side Effects EP, which was used to soundtrack The Extreme Sports Channel this Summer 06.
Protosoul have continued to grow in stature, furthering the feel good vibe that surrounds them, with an EP that is positively brimming with energy.

6mg, with its thought provoking lyrics, excellent guitar riffs and incomparable drumming, derives from 2 years of constant gigging and perfecting the art of concise songwriting.It is a romp of bittersweet riffs and vocals that are equally angst ridden and lust driven.

Over the last 2 years, Protosouls music has appealed to listeners of pop, hard rock, alternative and metal.6mg was born of sincerity, emotional revelation and a genuine love for music, but this time the music also stemmed from necessity not the necessity of making deadlines or getting the EP on the shelf. Rather the necessity of an artist to create, explore and try to understand more about the world around him.
