About us


The foundations for 'Prospect Lane' were laid at 7.25pm on a spring day in 2005 at the Sharmans Cross public house on Prospect Lane in a leafy suburb of Birmingham.


The Lane's first recording was 'Tear me to Pieces' which was produced by Gavin Monaghan (Kings of Leon, Editors, The Twang) and is closing title soundtrack on the recent Killers rockumentary - 'Leaving Las Vegas'. Mr Monaghan also produced 'Fickle' and 'Isolation' for Prospect Lane in March 2007. Prospect Lane have toured and supported the likes of Ghosts, Boxer Rebellion and Silversun Pickups. They have also been played and acclaimed on BBC Radio 1,BBC Radio2, BBC WM, BBC Shropshire and Kerrang Radio. The band will be performing live BBC sessions in February 2008.

HERE THE PAST AND FUTURE MEET, THIS IS NO ORDINARY STREET, ALWAYS DIFFERENT, ALWAYS THE SAME, THE PATH THAT LEADS TO PROSPECT LANE.
