The Band

About us

We are Pisco Sour Hour, a three piece band from Sheffield who play interesting pop songs in a variety of ways with murky, awkward, emotional backstories. We work our hardest to avoid the mundane and find band biography writing to be a ridiculously difficult task, mainly because it so hard to avoid cliches. Listen to the music instead and that should give you an idea of where we are coming from.

FREE 3 Track EP wot we gone done ourselves, out now and also on the player entitled 'Jimmy's Imagination'. Tracks as follows: - Jimmy's Imagination : prequel to Jimmy Loxely prior to The Wake. Strange occurences afoot in a cave. He reaches for his pocket and smiles. A backwards haunting. - Shrunken Head : this has been played live in various forms. This time slinkier. Whatever you do, do not look under the bed. You have been warned. - At The Ranch House. Atomic age Californian raunch. Sunken lounges. Flat roofs. Hungry Rotarians. A duet feat. Wood and the Booth. Tommy R Jones on drums. This is available from the piscosourhour.co.uk/listen.htm in some high quality audio form with downloadable print it yourself CD label and inlay (should you desire a more tangible product).
