About us

We're here to bring decent pop music into your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats happened to the local pop scene, its dead!! why? because indie came and killed it, grrrrrrr indie. Nah we like indie music too but we love pop, it easier to dance to and we're cr*p at dancing so its great for us.

Its always rock, punk, metal and indie bands you'll see getting featured on here, rarely the little popster so if you want to see that change speak up and if we get featured we'll then thats just the start of the change. Pop built the UK music scene don't let it die.

Anyway thats enough of that rant, we don;t hate all other forms of music, we embrace them all. So we're from Edinburgh sort of, Gibson comes from the sticks (Hawick), there's 4 of us at the min but we will hopefully be 5 at some point when we get a kind person to play keys for us and help with the singing. We've been giging around a bit here and there, we don't like to over do it in Edinburgh but we're trying to sort out lots of summer dates so you can all get a chance to see us.

I (phoenix) have been playing the Edin scene for a good 4/5 years then i found the rest of the lads just aimlessly wandering the streets so i took them in and now we are the mighty Phoenix Q and we'll play you some funky pop tunes that will stick in your head like the memory of the night you pulled someone you shouldn't have HA HA HA, except the memory of us will be far more pleasant.

so this appears to be one big spraf of information, some relevant, some not so much but sod it, if you want to know more about us then contact us or come to our gigs or listen to your radio because we can be heard there every now and then when we infiltrate some poor unsuspecting radio station and take over.

Listen to our music, enjoy, chill out, dance.
