About us
Parade is about POP music… pure and simple.
Life affirming, three minute blasts of pure adrenalin designed to pick you up by the scruff of the neck and take you on a breathless ride that you’ll just want to relive over and over.
Not for them, music mired in furrow browed introspection or dressed up in the faux arty poses of some of their contemporaries. Simply, an ongoing search for peerless pop perfection.
Their music is a fabulous mix of guitar driven pop. Think of a bare knuckle fist fight between “Times Like These” Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol refereed by Bono and the Edge and you’re not far off!!
Led by singer and guitarist, David Boardman, this manchester quartet (John Cosgrove - drums, Al Roberts – guitar, Joe Wee – bass) have only played a handful of gigs, but already look set to be THE band to watch over the next year.
It is Parade’s desire to make timeless pop records and not to concern themselves with fleeting trends. This is where the story begins…
