Jim Thistlewhite (aka Page 1of1) is one man, playing acoustic and/or electric guitar, with a gentle voice and electronic beats.

I started playing solo gigs and recorded a rough demo in 2002, around the same time a band called Slater I was in was splitting up. My first gig was at The Stalls Bar in Harrogate and I've been playing around Yorkshire ever since.

For the first year of performing, I would just play acoustic guitar but after snapping strings at practically every other show and performing with loud punk bands, I decided to do the Bragg thing and play with an electric. I bought a drum machine in 2005 and have recently started writing backing tracks on my computer so I now play the majority of my set with a techno thud to back me up!
