About us
Otters Pocket are a 3 piece experimental sound and song band from the Northwest of the island. Formed in early 2006, we like to think that we have no musical boundaries and what comes out is usually the product of hours of just simply playing music.
"The band like to have fun and that is shown in their live shows which has seen many different crowds become appreciative of their lack of arrogance".
We just want to carry on writing and creating until something sticks!

LS2 Leeds Student Paper
"From their photo you would be forgiven for immediately assuming that Otters Pocket were another sad example of the mindless, post nu-metal "I wish I was american" dross that has infected one corner of the Leeds music scene. You would be forgiven for thinking this, however that would not be before someone smashed your face in. Otters Pocket are a peerless example of music that manages to both transcend genres and styles whilst still remaining coherent. They expertly avoid falling into the trappings of the muddled confusion that besets so many bands that attempt to embrace too many influences at once by offering the listener a perfectly executed blend of Jeff Buckley with Hendrix guitars and Led Zeppelin rhythms. This is quite simply an irresistable combination and is carried out with striking accuracy and to great effect."
