About us

ODi is a new Irish female singer song writing talent originally from Co. Wexford now based in Leeds UK she performs regularly on both sides of the Irish Sea.

“A Superman” is the debut EP from Wexford songstress ODi and is the follow up to her well received debut single “Crawl”. The Ep is a 5 track CD which features the previous single ‘What You Deserve’ (produced by Karl Odlum) and the new acoustic track ‘Tears and Wine’. Completing the EP, are tracks taken from live radio sessions, ‘Crawl’ (Future Radio) and ‘Leaving my Love in New York’ (KCLR FM Eclectic Light programme with Martin Bridgeman).

In support of the EP release ODi sets out again on tour in the UK including a supprot tour to Mark Geary on his UK dates in September.

With an ever growing collection of great songs waiting to be recorded ODi enters the studio in late 2008 to record her debut album with respected Irish producer Karl Odlum (Fionn Regan, David Kitt, The Frames, Kila) scheduled for release spring 2009.

Reviews so far.................

"Ballsy folk from Leeds with a Damien Rice intensity and lilting female vocals, that can without warning spin off into PJ Harvey grungy rock. See brilliant single 'Crawl'........" Northern Monkie Promotions

" ODi has a wonderfully expressive voice and writes passionate and engaging songs that will captivate even the most hardened critic" Rhythm & Booze Rating 10/10 Rhythm & Booze fanzine

" It`s all quality.... Jags the emotional synapses, engages without draining....mmmmm, More Please! www.unpeeled.co.uk

"Flawless vocals with a great deal of warmth that just invites you to get involved in the whole song..... Crawl will be on my mp3 player cracker of a song well worth the listen" www.essentialmusic.org

"Her songs demand to be listened to. I'm not a fan of camparisons, but Suzanne Vega had been born in Leeds (Wexford!!!) she would have been Odi" FATEA
