About us
NTIATE! are a four piece alternative rock band from the south side of Manchester. Since forming in 2003 they have had 3 names, 2 singers, 2 temporary drummers, 2 bass players, 3 guitarists, a Ford Mondeo and 2 Fiesta’s.
They have played in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool though never all at the same time. Through no collusion they tend to wear black hoodies and jeans, mostly with tennis shoes or those big clunky things that kids with skateboards wear.
Their drink of choice is Jack Daniels and Coke. Three of them can’t remember anything after drinking 5 of them. The other one fills them in the next day and issues the apologies on the night.
Sometimes they play music. When they do it sounds like all of their favourite bands have been put in a blender, liquidised and made in to some sort of hellish drink, a drink you can hear.
Other people say they sound like “one of those bands you accidentally stumble across, who with their wonderfully original brand of music waste no time in launching your musical expectations to completely different and ridiculously high level. 10/10” (ubspotlight Jan ’08); “effortless creativity within genres that don’t hold that much scope for expansion.” (This-is-Music oct ’07) and “they hold all the conventions of a big metal band, but you get the impression that there is going to be much more to them in the future.” (Whisperin’ and Hollerin’ Jan’08).
If you are a promoter they would love you to book them. If you are a producer they would love you to record them. If you are a label they would love you to sign them. If you are a member of the public they would love it if you came to the shows, listened to the music and tell other people about them.
