Neave Merrick - Everything

About us

Neave is a London based solo artist who before moving down to London Town lived a somewhat nomadic lifestyle travelling up and down the UK to initially small but ever increasing audiences.

He'd go from city to city sleeping on any available sofas, staying in hostels and working in bars. When living in Manchester he even set up his own 'Beat the Clock' club night which featured various unsigned bands, performance artists, guest DJ's and the occasional set from the man himself.

Since making the capitol his home he's thrown himself into the London club scene, performing at nights such as Death Disco, Being Boiled, Tesco Disco and Rota to name but a few!
He's also supported the likes of The Raveonettes, Battle, The Dears, Cut Copy and The Presets.

Although Neave very much ploughs his own furrow comparisons have been made to artists such as Bowie, Interpol, Depeche Mode, The Presets and The Smiths.

2006 marked the release of Neave's debut single 'Wordless Awkwardness' which recieved extensive airplay from various community radio stations and all 200 ltd edition copies
sold out in its first week of release. It has now been re-released and is being sold in HMV Islington.
