About us

We are no good at writing our own biography, so we let the good people of Alternative Magazine do it for us:
"The name says it all. If you're after songs exploring the complex political problems of far away nations, or even the sappy boy-meets-girl storyline, My Favourite Pornstar are not your guys. Instead the lads set out to write about "things that make us laugh until we shake", be these bears' relaotionship problems, 90s TV classic Gladiators or video games.

Musically the blend of screamo and alternative rock their off-beat lyrics are set to delivers a much greater rush of screaming aural excitement than the sort of background music typically associated with pornstars, recently winning them a billing on the Taste of Chaos tour. They assure of an energetic show, perhaps in part owing to the eighteen cases of "lethal" product Taste of Chaos sponsors Rockstar Energy Drink provided them with. "We all like to jump around, do little dance moves, go into the crowds and just try and get the crowd as involved with our set as we are", says Simon, one of MFP's two vocalists, adding, "You could expect to see partial male nudity from time to time. Depends how unlucky you are".

Which leads us to the all important question; who is everyone's favourite pornstar? "Jamie's is Ron Jeremy, Dan doesn't have a favourite, it's all good to him. Owen and Rich aren't into mainstream porn and Marc's is Sylvia Saint", Simon tells. "I suppose mine would have to be our roadie 'The House'. His amateur stuff is intense."

Alternative Magazine

We've recently decided to take time off to write a lot of new songs. The set we've been playing is quite old and we feel that we're not delivering as well as we could be.
Since recruiting our New drummer, Marc, we have been working hard on perfecting the songs on our current set. So now it is time to get a lot of new stuff out there for you all.

We will be doing the odd gig here and there to air some new songs along the way and come end of summer time we're looking to record and tour extensivly again so keep your eyes peeled on here and our Myspace for new shows.

Thanks for sticking with us and we will see you soon!
