About us


My Echo formed mid 2003 when Pete Martin and Henry Gomez honed their beginnings with acoustic collaborations in the hallways & classrooms of the London School of Fashion. This was to be the start of an amazing partnership that would grow to form My Echo. Henry has a unique voice and smouldering onstage elegance that holds his audience captive. His ever evolving song smith skills are growing and developing all the time and are transforming his lyrics and melodies into the realm of unique. Pete is the Lead Guitarist and spiritual leader of the band. His varying blend of beautiful melodies and grimy riffs are coupled with a profound talent for song writing. After a year of and acoustic jams, Henry met Johnny Stoute on a film shoot and the two really clicked. Johnny is a natural drummer that comes from a gospel background but really knows how to beat a drum kit into submission. He has truly found a home slamming the beats in a solid rock band. After a couple years and multiple bass players the boys finally found Dave Broido by a chance meeting on the Internet. Dave is a heavy groove driven bass player from a Funk and Soul origin, who left his hometown of Johannesburg South Africa to pursue his musical dream. From then on a great team and a truly powerful rock band was born. The boys come from such diverse backgrounds but blend together to form the genuinely fresh and unique sound that is My Echo.

Rocking us through from the live section of the night, into the clubnight after, are Corrupt regulars, MY ECHO. This is a big night for them, showcasing new material, and with a good deal of industry buzz surrounding the show. With their stadium-sized soaring indie-rock songs, and London-boy antics, they always make us feel like we’re at festival at sunset...................
