About us


Three piece rock band, formed in 2001, from the Manchester area. Named after a nun who knew her stuff on torturous devices. Influences include Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The MC5, Patti Smith, Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden, Free, Jimi Hendrix, amongst others.

The band's philosophy is passion minus posing plus volume. Drum kits are for hitting, amplifiers are for cranking, guitar strings are for snapping, and (most importantly) ears are for ringing.

We do not wear matching ties. We do not grow our fringes in the manner of a black, soggy sock slapped 'emotionally' across our foreheads. Music first, all else second.

Brief break from gigs for a while - all concentration is on writing new material. Watch this space.
