About us


Jean-Marc Valat, Steve Dourdil, Ross Butler and Stephen Aravena are Morning Lane (ML), a fast-developing London based band turning heads with a bag full of beautifully written songs, mixing strong melodies and intense music with mature lyrics and a dynamic on-stage energy.

Born at the end of 2003 and named after a street in Hackney, London and having collectively amassed some satisfying past musical experiences, ML has released their own album and EPs through the growing internet download distribution route with sites like Napster, iTunes and also, more importantly, independent promoters and radio stations across the globe.

Today, with a brand new EP showcasing a harder, more focused sound yet preserving the band's trademark bittersweet melodies and hooks, the band is receiving more attention than ever and more positive feedback day after day. They are now supporting established bands and hitting the mainstream radios to develop their following.
