About us


Playing instruments from an early age, Michael and Simon realised they were quite good at this music lark. They went on to form a couple of bands, most notably Big Green Blue who ripped the Cumbrian music scene apart, gaining a huge following in the process. In the summer of 2005 BIG GREEN BLUE split, they ended on a high performing a career spanning set at Dickie Doodles.

In 2005 Michael and Simon released 'A Compilation of Questions...' their first solo recording, this was followed by the limited edition EP, 'Four Is The Magic Number'. The brothers are now working under the name MONKEY PUZZLE and have released one album titled 'THE POWER OF THOUGHTS' which was followed in June 2007 by the EP, 'ALL IS O.K.' .

The band are currently in the middle of writing and demoing tracks for a new album which is due to be released in 2008.
