About us
Loz Bridge is miles from home. The Preston-born singer/songwriter has made his home in Portsmouth and brought his distinctive brand of quirky-roots with him. Heavily influenced by the likes of Tom Waits and Nick Cave, Loz’s dark lyrical style has caught the attention of the South-Coast scene, leading to recent support slots with Song Of Dave, Eileen Rose and Yoav. His tracks have been played on BBC Radio Solent, Original FM and Express FM amongst others, and he is due to feature live on BBC Radio later this year. He is currently recording with backing band The Box Social, and an EP release is planned for late 2008.
"I've just musically died and gone to heaven" PHIL JACKSON, BBC RADIO SOLENT
“Bridge is a blur throughout, singing and playing (guitar and keyboard) with such conviction that he holds audience attention through sheer force of will, the crowd mesmerised even through silence. This young man is certainly a talent to keep watching!” SUBBA-CULTCHA
“We’re not in the business of predicting next big things around here, but tunes like this deserve an audience.” THE FLY
"This young man is most definitely one to watch!" BLUES MATTERS
“One of the best songwriters on the Portsmouth scene” EXPRESS FM
“You look like the devil…” JUSTIN PARRY PHOTOGRAPHY
