Hello I am a 26 year female artist one person band I love music and I have been wanting to be a musician since I was 2. I am self taught I dont know notes or anything like that I play by ear as you know I sing, play guitar, write my own songs and lyrics, I love poetry, so alot of my lyrics come from my own poetry or just my own spontaneous writing. Your probably wondering well how did the drums and the keyboards get in your music of course with the help of the studio I went to but they were all my own ideas I told him how I wanted everything to sound and of course he had some of his own ideas that he put in the mix as well. I am not a great guitar play or vocalist but it does not stop me from what I have done I would say that is pretty damn good its alot easier when you have a band.
Of course I would like to have a band but they usually wanted me to do backup vocals and guitar but that was not for me I want to do my own thing and I think bands these days dont focus too much on important issues that is more usually found in the underground punk and hardcore groups which I love dearly. Escpecially the way times are these days and me being a gay it is a very hard time for us all of us for all of us in poverty anyone who is different women not being heard the war our evil president I want to speak to all of us and hopefully help anyone I can with my music. If even its only 1 person and it gets them through the day than that is all that matters I wish nothing more than to be born
what I was supposed to be and that is a musician with the ability to help people I am not going in with the attitude of oh I am going to save the world I am a hero no way I just want to help those people who suffer everyday and let them know that there is someone just like them out there and they are not alone that is all. All I can say to anyone I meet at this point is to not discriminate just be yourselves
and screw all who oppose if everyone can just be themselves I think it would make a big change I know it may seem really hard for alot of people but when your alone and there is noone else beside you but you you are all you got so remember that dont let yourself get away from you and do what you want not what your told follow your mind not of others be what you want not what they want you to be because in the end you will find yourself in a miserable place because you were nothing more than a follower not a leader and what does this have to do with music? Alot because alot of other bands sound like everyone else they follow what they are doing do you
ever go isnt that this band on the radio and you find yourself arguing amongst others because you cannot tell them apart exactly dont be a clone and dont go with the music industry if they are nothing but another 1 hit wonder brainwashing effect I am so
sick of this shit something has got to change and soon I can hopefully say how soon is now?
