The Band

About us

Formed in 2003, Logan are a five piece hard rock band from Glasgow, Scotland.
Their self funded debut album First Leaf Fallen was released in 2003 and followed this up with Welcome To The Wasteland a year later, building an impressive UK fan base and selling in excess of 8000 copies.
In 2005 they secured high profile support slots with Alter Bridge, which helped them to become one of the most talked about independent bands in the UK.
In June 2006 they released their first single When I Get Down which debuted at No.12 on the Official UK Rock Chart and proceeded to stay in the chart for seven weeks – a feat never before achieved by an unsigned band.September 2006 saw the release of their third album Cruel Little World and their second single Hallowed Ground followed, again breaking into the UK Rock Chart Top Twenty, the only unsigned band to have achieved this incredible feat.
2007 saw the band win awards at The UK Glasswerks Awards for New Music and a nomination as ones to watch in 2008 by the UK's leading rock magazine Classic Rock and an inclusion on the accompanying cover mount cd.
2008 is the year of Logan. Airplay of the forthcoming single "Lost & Found" won the band a support slot with Bon Jovi at Hampden Park in front of 40000 and the subsequent 8 date UK headline tour pushed sales of Cruel Little World to sell out status. Total sales of all three releases are now nudging 30,000 with no label support. A new pressing with bonus tracks will be launched in October to compliment a 24 date UK and European tour in support of Alter Bridge.

"Make no mistake, these guys are after headline status on the heavy-rock circuit, and having recently supported Bon Jovi, it looks like the first stage of their mission is complete." - David Baldwin Birmingham Metro

"Logan are without doubt the Uk's finest unsigned band at the moment. And this album is one of 2006's best...unsigned or not!" -
Powerplay Magazine

"Every word is sung in unison, en masse and the ovation at the end is positively rapturous...inspired" -
Kerrang magazine

"The crowd know every word and vigorously sing along, fists pumping the air, carried along by the bands anthemic, stadium filling sound."
Classic Rock Magazine

"Logan certainly kept to their pre-show promise and delivered a stadium sized show in a small venue. The crowd of around 100 or so witnessed a band who are the ascendancy and it will only be a matter of time until Logan return to play much, much bigger venues. For those in tonight’s audience, they will be able to brag “I was there just before Logan hit the big time”. One thing is for sure, Logan’s time is just round the corner."
