Hi there I'm Jamie Little Fire, a 21 year old young man from Ayr in the south west of Scotland. I love writing,singing and performing very much, this page will let you know where I am performing next and what Im up to!

The name 'Little Fire' comes from a gaelic to english translation of my newly born wee brother - Aodan! He is indeed a Little Fire!

I thought the name was cute and I obviously has emotional significance to me and I felt it summed up my music and songs well, striking and direct, not the most bombastic music you're likely to hear around but heart felt in its creation.

Currently learning my trade playing anywhere I can, it brings me great joy to perform music and I know I can bring good feelings to people and I bare my heart candidly, Im very much in love with life and feel great positivity. I would be completely wasted doing a 9-5 and it would kill my soul.
I'm extremely optimistic and full of love for life. not great in the mornings but who is?

I've had a love for writing poetry and songs since I was young. I find great enjoyment in singing and in meeting kindred spirits.

I recently won BBC Radio 1's poetry competition on Ras Kwames' show and won performance slots at this years Latitude festival held near Suffolk in England.

Little Fire runs his own independant record label, Little Fire Records.
